When voting...

...does it bring you more joy to imagine your vote as the winning vote? or does it bring you more joy to know that your vote canceled out some jerk's vote?

Probably the canceling out part. I get too stressed if I think that my vote is the winning vote. What if I'm wrong? Aaah!

Neither. I like to think of my vote counting the same as everyone else's, whether or not my candidate won. Because it takes all of them to win. That's democracy. It's a beautiful thing.
