(for discussion's sake, lets include lonely, hopeless, painful, disturbing, and such with sad, while joyful, funny, heart-warming, and such should be included with happy) You can offer explanation if you feel like it, but it isn't required.

..What has been the defining trait of goodness in the history of America? Can you think of an event or time that epitomized that goodness? How does that trait survive today? Has the application of that trait been good 100 percent of the time? (yes I know that is several questions) Opinion.
