...to lose a game that you played really well, or to win a game that you played terribly? What if it isn't you specifically, but your team as a whole that has a poor/terrific performance?
I don't think you ever feel good after a loss, regardless of how you played. I'll take a badly played win over a poorly played loss any day.
Here's the thing -- if you have an amazing game and still lose, what does that leave you with? You know that you had a great game, and you still couldn't get it done.
Plus, even if you played really well, if you lost you are still going to be dissecting the game and wondering what more you could have done to change the outcome.
