Ok. The real issue with this from a casting point of view is that (s)he has to play both Bruce Wayne and Batman convincingly. The first few movies got one, but not the other. Personally, I try not to think about the unfortunate, and oddly homoerotic Clooney films. Val was a good Bruce Wayne but a horrible Batman. Michael Keaton was a decent batman but not so believable as Bruce Wayne. Christian Bale nailed them both and was able to play two characters. Possibly Ed Norton could do it, we know he can beef up. So go ahead and ask about the clown...

I'm sorry to be plain jane here...but I freaking love Christian Bale. And Batman has always been my favorite. So...yeah that's all I got.
