Worldwide culture...
...as we become more connected as a planet (with the internet and easy travel and cell phones and world wide business, etc...) will it be possible to hold onto local/regional cultures? If so, what will be the effect of these things on local cultures? Overall, is this good or bad?

homogenization, increasingly, but there will always be regional variation.
i don't think we can say anything is "good" or "bad" about this.
