In the spirit of March Madness...

...you may have witnessed the FOX television event "Kobayashi vs the Bear" in a hot dog eating contest. if not you can watch that Here . It is as it sounds, Kobayashi, the greatest hot dog eating champion of perhaps all time, went against a hungry bear in a hot dog eating contest. While it was closer than it should've been, the bear did win, but it makes me wonder, if Kobayashi had won, would that have been the greatest upset of all time? If not, what is? (consider "David v. Goliath", or "John Henry v. the machine", "Davidson v. Georgetown",etc...)

Benjamin Franklin vs. lightening
Dane Cook vs. popular opinion of talent
Paris Hilton vs. morality

(none of those underdogs would I have cheered for...)

The survivors of 815 vs. that horrible crash

The rebel alliance vs. the empire...

but currently, my favorite is Davidson vs. Georgetown. And I'm ready for Davidson vs. Wisconsin...

(also, I realize I seem to be a frequent poster...but until someone puts something new up on ruach, which I check daily, that and nothing better to do is just gonna keep leading me here)

Davidson was ranked higher than Georgetown going into the game by some polls... tomorrow will be the real upset (Davidson vs. Wisconsin)!

oh, that was Gonzaga in the first game, not Georgetown... I'm so very wrong... I am new to all this basketball stuff- sorry guys!

And as far as upsets go, maybe Karol Wojtyla (Pope John II) becoming first non-Italian pope in 455 years(and only Polish Pope)?
