Another "would you rather"...
...be a big time hit song writer but not performer (you write mega-hits that everyone knows for big pop names and get paid big, but no one knows you as the writer) or a local performer (you write and perform your own songs, they are popular locally and you get by fine with money, not rich)?

Especially if you think of what "big time hits" are. You'd be a pawn of recording companies to write cheesy songs for teenagers.
local performer. you would never have to go on tour in a stinky bus. AND you get to sing!
